KUALA TERENGGANU - former Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin said PAS did not rule out the possibility that its candidate for the Galas by-election might be from the Orang Asli community.
Mohamad Nizar, who is also a member of the PAS Executive Committee, said this at a dialogue session here last night which was also attended by PAS central committee member Mohamad Sabu and DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang.
Meanwhile, Lim regretted the allegation that the DAP was anti-Islam which was made at a ceramah organised by an Umno division recently.
Describing the allegation as slanderous, Lim said Islam was the country's official religion and if the DAP was anti-Islam, the party leaders would have been imprisoned a long time ago.-Bernama
