DAP’s Kuala Terengganu Chairman, Mr Ng Chai Hing was seen at Gerakan Mansuhkan (GMP) Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Sains dan Matematik dalam bahasa Inggeris (PPSMI) demonstration near Istana Negara Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
His picture was shot by Buletinonline’s reporter SM Noor, showing that he is wiping his tears with a handkerchief.
A march by more than 50,000 people, from Masjid Negara Kuala Lumpur to Istana Negara, the palace of Yang DiPertuan Agong was lead by the coalition of GMP to hand over a memorandum.
GMP requesting the government especially Ministry of Education to stop the PPSMI program.
The Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) stop the protestor to follow National Laurette, Dato’ A Samad Said to hand over the memorandum in front of Istana Negara.
Police shot hundreds of the tear gas to the demonstrator without any warning.
Chairman of the Caoalition (GMP) Datuk Dr. Hassan Ahmad on commenting the police action asid “police should more flexible and tolerate, the marcher or demonstrator just want to follow and make sure the memorandum handing over to Yang DiPertuan Agong in front of Istana Negara, nothing else”.
